John’s love of fitness began back in 2002 when he accepted a job at a local YMCA fitness center. Soon after emerging himself in the fitness world, he became a fitness coach, certified personal trainer and began creating and leading youth fitness programs. John’s experience in designing and implementing fitness programs for clients ranges from high level sport specific athletes to grandparents.
John is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and Springfield College in Springfield, MA where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sport Studies and Physical Education. Shortly after discovering CrossFit in 2011 John became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and began coaching. John also holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach certification and recently earned his CrossFit Level 2 certificate.
